Since we all seem to have enough toothpaste 
here is another way to put it to good use.
1. The first step is to apply some toothpaste on a dry cloth.
2. Once the toothpaste is on the cloth, begin to rub the headlight cover with it until the grime comes off.
3. Keep rubbing the toothpaste in circular motions until the grime breaks down all the way. After that proceed to rinse with water and wipe down with a wet cloth.

Thanks for the tip! I also like to use toothpaste to clean my silver jewelry. Definitely does the trick to make it shiny and clean…oh and minty fresh!
Tooth paste will take ink off walls,lip stick out of clothes.
Didn’t work with Dollar Store Colgate. Maybe a pricier toothpaste would work.
