So I had some lace left over from my french maid costume, and thought it would be fun to use it as a sort of stamp to an old boring shirt. So I painted the lace and then “stamped” it on the shirt.

I went over it a couple of times, but it still didn’t fill in all of the spaces.
I even pressed down on the lace using a book. Maybe I just needed more paint? But I was afraid to use too much paint because I wasn’t sure if that would mess up the lace lines – does that even make sense?

I still wore it but…um…not sure if this is public worthy! 
But, then again, I figure I’m going with the distressed look. Distressed is the new black, right?
