Our small end table (Target circa 2005 ish) had seen better days! It was all nicked up and I about threw it in the garage sale pile several times. But then I thought I’d try to save it and give it a little makeover! I chose the color Catalina Mist from Krylon because it’s pretty dreamy and goes with the room and the hutch!
This is how it looked after I sprayed it…Still kinda plane jane.
So I picked a fab french looking scrapbook paper print and used Mod Podge to attach to the bottom part.
And then I discovered The Graphics Fairy! How fun is that site? I saw several examples of how to use her labels and I decided to use the pencil transfer method for this great french chocolate label.

First I sized and printed out the label. Then I colored the entire back of the paper with pencil and taped it to the table. I used a pen to trace over all the details and when you remove the paper the pencil remains. Then I carefully used a brown paint pen to fill in the pencil. It was time consuming but soooo worth it! I love the result!
I’m crazy for monograms so here is another fun way to incorporate it through a new drawer pull from Hobby Lobby! I also sanded the edges of the table and legs a tiny bit.
Here she is with my fav Goodwill gold box I painted white! ahhh much better, dontcha think?!
