I just got off the phone with the hospital and they had our test results in and we are “low risk” for the top 3 Chromosomal Abnormalities (Trisonomy 21,18 & 13) which is very good news!! The test is 99% accurate for 21, 97% accurate for 18, and 80% accurate for the rarest one, 13.
I AM SO HAPPY I COULD BURST! We still have to go in for another Ultrasound in 2 weeks to make sure her head is growing, but this was a huge hurdle and I have faith that her head will catch up with the rest of her body 
They found out I was extremely anemic last week, so maybe my low iron and low red blood cell count was contributing to her lack of growth. Since taking the iron supplement this past week, my tummy is literally twice the size so I think it’s helping.

What a wonderful way to start my day – hearing your Good News!!! I have been wondering how things were going since the “real scary news”. It sounds like everything is going to be 100% okay!! All of our love and prayers and support are helping to turn things around.
It will be wonderful when your little bundle of joy arrives – your whole “extended family” will be oohing & ahhing all day long. This is something we are all on-board for – I’m sure your little girl is feeling all the love we are sending to her & her parents!

So happy to hear this! Advances in medicine are incredible, but sometimes they cause so much unnecessary worry. A friend of ours went through a nearly identical situation with their daughter a few months ago, weeks of worry and stress only to find out everything was fine. Glad to hear it sounds like everything is going to be ok!
